Kupang (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will pay a three-day visit to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province on Saturday, NTT Governor Frans Lebu Raya said.

During his visit until Monday, the President will visit Labuan Bajo in the western tip of Flores Island to observe Komodo airport, the governor said here on Friday.

Aside from observing Komodo airport, President Jokowi will also visit Atambua to launch the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Rotiklot Dam in the region that shares border with Timor Leste.

Based on the schedule issued by the State Palace, the Head of State will depart to Labuan Bajo on December 27, 2015, he said. From Labuan Bajo, the President will continue his trip on the first day to Atambua.

On December 28, President Jokowi will attend a Christmas celebration in NTT provincial capital of Kupang, Labu Raya said.

After attending the Christmas ceremony, the President will continue his tour of other Indonesian eastern region.

"This is a schedule that has been issued by the State Palace. Yet the Presidents trip to NTT still could change," the governor said.
