We have to move. Art is limitless; limiting art actually makes it hard to develop."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian folk music duo Stars and Rabbit have announced that they will be conducting a UK tour in October.

Their "Baby Eyes" tour will kick off at Gwdihw in Cardiff on October 12, before heading to The Good Ship in London on October 14, Green Door Store in Brighton on October 17 and The Dublin Castle in London on October 20.

This is a dream trip for the musicians, who formed their band in 2011 in Yogyakarta.

"Only by looking through it can you see the beauty of something," said vocalist Elda here on Wednesday.

At the beginning of their career, Stars and Rabbit received a lot of positive responses from the United Kingdom, especially for their three-song demo that they released through social media.

"Thanks to the help of friends in the United Kingdom and Indonesia and support from the UK government, we have been able to finish the tour process easier and faster," she remarked.

The duo have invited three additional musicians to join their tour -- bassist Natural Segara, drummer Andi Irfanto, and keyboardist Vicky Unggul.

The Baby Eyes tour was initially scheduled for 2017, but because plans to hold a solo concert outside Yogyakarta were cancelled, the UK tour finally came to fruition.

"We have to move. Art is limitless; limiting art actually makes it hard to develop," said guitarist Adi.

The band had an Asian tour in 2015 where they visited seven cities in three countries to promote their debut album "Constellation."

The UK tour will work in coordination with Starcross, a local clothing brand from Yogyakarta. For more information on concerts and other info, please visit www.starsandrabbit.com/
