Yogyakarta (ANTARA News) - Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is developing the first anti-corruption website in the world as part of the efforts to eradicate corruption in every single aspect of public life.

"The website, www.cegahkorupsi.wg.ugm.ac.id, is a real step taken by the academicians to eradicate corruption," founder of the website, Rimawan Pradiptyo, said here on Friday.

He explained that the website contained important material related to efforts aimed at preventing corruption.

There are facts, news reports and a corruption map that covers all the provinces, cities and districts across the nation.

In addition, there are also publications about ways to understand and prevent corruption as well as concerned regulations.

According to Rimawan, all the information on the website was from an academic point of view and has been reviewed and studied before being uploaded.

"Therefore, the contents are verified and accounted for," he asserted, adding that no other country has such a website.(*)
