President Jokowi also congratulated followers of Hinduism across the country on the occasion of Hindu Day of Silence. He expressed his wishes to Hindu followers through his official Twitter account on Tuesday.
Jokowi uploaded the tweet at 7 a.m. local time. Through the social media platform, he called on the people to introspect, have a clear mind, and free themselves from all forms of bad behavior.
According to the president, the Hindu Day of Seclusion is a means of developing spirit and optimism for building the nation.
"Lets clean ourselves of hostility, grudges, and bad behavior to develop spirit. Happy Seclusion Day 2017-Jkw," the president tweeted.
During the Hindu day of silence on Tuesday, the president only has an internal agenda as conveyed by the Information, Media, and Press Bureau Chief of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin on Tuesday.
