Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan has asked the Director of Regulatory Agency for Downstream Oil and Gas (BPH Migas) to make the flat fuel price program a success.

"The one program that should not fail in all areas in the entire nation is the flat fuel price. It is very important and must succeed," Jonan affirmed, after inaugurating echelon II officials of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jakarta, on Monday.

He believed that these positions are crucial to the program and hence cannot be left unoccupied for too long.

The supervision of the program is also needed and cannot be neglected, including its cross subsidy.

Jonan had carried out rotation of the line of echelon II officials in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

"Firstly, I would like to extend my congratulations to those who have been inaugurated this afternoon. This promotion is more than just a mere rotation," he stated.

The former minister of transportation also called for the leadership regeneration to result in better achievements.

The names of echelon II officials who had been inaugurated by Jonan are as follows:

1. Harya Adityawarman, who is leaving his post as the Secretary of Inspectorate General in the Inspectorate General of the Ministry to become the Director of Development of Oil and Gas Downstream Business in the Ministrys Directorate General of Oil and Gas.

2. Agung Pribadi, who has left his position as Director of Coal Business Development of the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal to become the Director of Mineral and Coal Programs Development in the same Directorate General.

3. Sri Raharjo, who is now the Director of Coal Business Development in the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal after previously serving as Director of Mineral and Coal Programs Development.

4. Rudy Suhendar, who has become the Secretary of Inspectorate General in the Inspectorate General of the Ministry after leaving the previous position as Head of Groundwater and Geological System of the Geology Agency.

5. Setyorini Tri Hutami, who previously served in office as Director of Oil and Gas Downstream Business Development and was inaugurated as Director of Director of Oil Fuel at the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency.(*)
