Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has called on candidates of regional head in the simultaneous election 2018 to give honest reports on their wealth.

"For the candidates, we hope that they can be honest in the report, which furthermore would spark a preventive attitude in them," KPK Director for Registration and Audit on State Apparatus` Wealth Report (LHKPN) Cahya Hardianto Harefa said here on Wednesday.

He called on all candidates to account for their wealth reports.

"The report is true, and they stack up their wealth in proper ways without violating the law. So that it would spark the thoughts that `I will not corrupt`," Cahya said.

However, the anti-graft commission would need public help to give information regarding on the candidates` wealth that have yet to be included in the report, he continued.

KPK has opened 10 posts for candidates of the regional heads to submit reports on their wealth to the commission.

Based on KPK official sites "Pantau Pilkada" at http:/kpk.go.id, as of Wednesday at 03.25 p.m, 1,164 candidates have reported their wealth.

Cahya has expressed hope for the elected regional heads to carry out their task and avoid any fraud.

"No horse trading and anything will run properly," Cahya said.
