Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is holding a photo exhibition to showcase 60 years of Indonesia`s contribution to world peace at the UN Headquarter, New York.

The photo exhibition titled "A True Partner for World Peace" takes place on April 9-20 as one of Indonesia`s campaigns to its bid for a UN Security Council non-permanent member for 2019-2020, a press release stated here on Tuesday.

Dozens of photographs showing Indonesia`s active diplomacy were put in an interactive poster design measuring 22 meter by 2.6 meter placed on the wall of main corridor of the UN Headquarter Building.

The exhibition also showcased photographs of Indonesian peacekeeping troops during their duties in UN peacekeeping mission around the world.
