Yogyakarta (ANTARA News) - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo (Jokowi) along with vice president`s wife Mufidah Jusuf Kalla invited hundreds of children to the Presidential Palace, Agung Building, Yogyakarta, on Monday.

A total of 500 invited children comprising orphans and those of poor families from 25 foundations in Yogyakarta were invited to the event titled "Happy with the First Lady and Mrs. Hj Mufidah Jusuf Kalla."

"I want to pose question. Who can dare to answer it?" the first lady stated while addressing hundreds of children.

Suddenly, the children attending the event raised their hands. Three children got the opportunity to answer the question posed by First Lady Iriana.

The three children were asked to name five regional songs, mention the names of the presidents of Indonesia, and to talk about Pancasila.

A student named Emirensiana, 16, from the Brayat Pinuji Orphanage, Compassionate, Kulon Progo District, was asked to mention the names of the first president of Indonesia until the seventh one. Despite first appearing awkward and thinking for long, Emirensiana was finally able to name the seven presidents of the Republic of Indonesia correctly and won a bicycle as a prize.

Emirensiana said this was the second time that she had received a bicycle. She recalled that President Jokowi had handed out the first prize to her at the launch of the Indonesia Smart Card in Kulon Progo last year.

"I am happy to receive my second prize from the First Lady," she stated with a smile.

In addition to the bicycle, First Lady Iriana also handed out a laptop to children, who were able to answer the question. Not all children received bikes and laptops but were given bags and notebooks.

Moreover, First Lady Iriana Jokowi, along with Mufidah Jusuf Kalla and several wives of ministers of the Working Cabinet, who are members of the EAS Solidarity Action Organization, invited the kids to sing children`s songs and the national anthem. They were also entertained by clowns.

Nora Tristyana, the wife of Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu, conveyed that the program is an ongoing agenda, with the goal of boosting the spirit of children.

"These are not ordinary children but are special and need more affection. The first lady is very concerned about them," she added.
