Lhokseumawe, Aceh, (ANTARA News) - The Lhokseumawe City Government, Aceh Province will hold "Ramadan Safari" (hospitality during Ramadan month) activity by visiting a number of mosques in the city.

Lhokseumawe City Secretary Bukhari on Monday evening said that Ramadan Safari activities will be started on June 4 to 7, 2018. They will visit four mosques in some districts.

Besides, Regional Device Work Unit (SKPD) of Lhokseumawe City Government will join the activity.

He stated that the purpose of Ramadan Safari is to strengthen the relationship between local government and society, especially the villagers to create a synergy and participation towards development.

During Ramadan Safari visit, city government will also convey a various development information, especially information in the field of spiritual mental development as an educational material.

In addition to the intended purpose, the most important thing in the Ramadan Safari visit is getting the information and aspirations from the local community about development obstacles during this time.

"So, we can evaluate from the aspirations of the people in determining the various development policies in the future," he added.
