"Xi has conveyed his regards to his old friend Jokowi," Oratmangun stated, after following the credentials handing-over ceremony at People`s Great Hall in Tian`anmen.
He noted that Xi would be glad to welcome Jokowi to China and "would be ready to receive him anytime."
During the occasion, Oratmangun also conveyed Jokowi`s regards to Xi.
On behalf of the government, he also expressed appreciation to China with regard to Indonesia`s election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, which it said was inseparable from the Chinese government`s support.
Xi hoped that the two countries` ambassadors in Jakarta and Beijing would continue to increase coordination and cooperation to boost their relations, Oratmangun pointed out.
He added that Indonesia-China relations have so far shown good progress.
