Batang, C Java (ANTARA News) - The number of tourist visits to the Batang District Dolphin Center, Central Java Province, on June 16-22, 2018, or during the week of Lebaran 2018, reached 20 thousand.

Sutejo from the Public Relations Division of the Dolphin Center of Batang stated here on Saturday that the center offered several potential attractions, including dolphins, birds of prey, and various animals, as well as a mini safari to catch a glimpse of various species of animals.

"The most favorite attraction is that of the dolphin shows," he pointed out.

According to Sutejo, the dolphin shows are held four times a day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. local time.

"Visitors are charged Rp30 thousand per person to enter the Dolphin Center, while the cost of parking for four-wheeled vehicles is Rp5 thousand per car," he revealed.

Sutejo remarked that the Dolphin Center attractions around Sigandu Batang Beach were not as crowded with tourists as that observed at other tourism attractions in Batang District, such as Agrotourism at Pagilaran and Jodo Beach in Gringsing Sub-district.

Aspan, a visitor to the Dolphin Center, stated that this tourism attraction will be better if managed optimally by a professional manager.

"I think this tourist attraction is pretty good. However, it needs better management, especially in terms of the hospitality offered by officers and the arrangement of parking areas," he revealed.
