The musical performance involved six other musicians, who had joined the Indra Lesmana Project (ILP).
Lesmana noted in a statement on Thursday that of the six personnel in the ILP, most play metal music.
"The guitarist is from a metal band, the drummer is also a rock musician, and only the bassist is a jazz musician," he said.
Lesmana, who is known as a jazz musician, did not deny the fact that his musicians at the ILP are highly qualified to play progressive metal music.
"The music is loud. I call it metal fusion, but the people call it progressive metal and progressive rock," he explained.
He emphasized that the ILP performance at the Suara Surabaya Center on June 30 tomorrow is part of the opening series before heading to the annual musical event of the Jazz Traffic Festival in 2018.
