The 2018 Asian Games Parade was welcomed by Situbondo Sub-District Head Dadang Wigiarto and his deputy Yoyok Mulyadi along with the local regional communication forum at the monument Tugu 1,000 KM Anyer Panarukan.
Upon arriving at Tugu 1000 KM Anyer Panarukan, the representative of the Asian Games Torch Parade group also directly handed over the torch to Sub-District Head of Situbondo Dadang Wigiarto.
After a joint photo session in front of the Tugu 1,000 KM Anyer Panarukan, the torch was received by Wigiarto and was again paraded aboard an open jeep to the Hall of Situbondo amid tight escort from the national Army and Police force personnel.
Throughout the journey to the District Hall of Situbondo, thousands of students and community members eagerly welcomed the Asian Games Parade.
The 18th Asian Games Parade group had earlier moved from the Mount Bromo tourism attraction in Probolinggo District and arrived in Situbondo District at around 3 p.m. local time.
