Bogor, W Java, (ANTARA News) - Youth and Sports Minister Imam Nahrowi reviewed the 2018 Asian Games arena for the Paragliding event at Puncak Pass, Bukit Pasir Sumbul, Cianjur District, West Java, on Thursday.

Nahrowi arrived at Puncak Pas at around 15:35 p.m. and was greeted by Head of Paragliding National Team Coach, Gendon Subandono. The minister then had an amicable meeting with the athletes.

There are 18 national athletes (men and women) participating in the exercises at the takeoff site at Bukit Pasir Sumbul.

Previously, he stated that he just had time to review and visit the paragliding athletes as he was busy monitoring the readiness of the Asian Games 2018.

At the hospitality gathering, the minister enquired about the readiness of tools and physical condition of athletes.

"Please inform me of your necessities. If it is about the bonus, do not think about it, let me think about it," Imam remarked while consoling the athletes.

Meanwhile, Gendon explained that the team was still conducting preparations and training ahead of the Asian Games.

"We will reduce the number of exercise, but we will increase its intensity," Gendon pointed out.
