Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The planned reshuffle of the Indonesian Working Cabinet could take place due to a change in the coalition map for the 2019 Presidential Election, Vice President Jusuf Kalla stated.

"Of course, there is a reason to do this. Yes, it can arise. This is the cabinet that has something to do with politics," Kalla informed reporters at the Jakarta Vice President`s Office on Tuesday.

Speaking in connection with the announcement of the reshuffle, Kalla admitted that he was unaware of who would be replaced in the Working Cabinet and when it would take place.

"Just wait for the point. I do not know yet," the vice president added.

Out of several ministers from political parties in the Working Cabinet, one minister is likely to be replaced, as his party no longer carries President Joko Widodo in his candidacy in the 2019 Presidential Election.

In the 2019 Presidential Election, the National Mandate Party expressed its support for prospective candidate pair: Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno.

Meanwhile, Kalla believes that Asman Abnur`s performance in the Working Cabinet has been quite good.

"I saw his performance is quite satisfactory. However, this is politics, so the step has to be taken," Vice President Kalla remarked.
