Jakarta (ANTARA News)- Indonesia`s soccer team beat Laos 3-0 in the elimination round of the 2018 Asian Games Group A men`s soccer held at the Patriot Chandrabaga stadium, Bekasi, West Java, Friday.

With the latest victory, Indonesia has so far collected six points, after defeating Chinese Taipei 4-0 in the previous match. Indonesia, however, lost 1-2 in a soccer match against Palestine on August 15.

Indonesia`s first goal was scored by Alberto Goncalves, originally from Brazil but now an Indonesian national, 13 minutes after the first half of the match began.

The second goal was scored by Stefano Lilipaly in the second minute of the second half of the match dominated by the Indonesian team`s players.

Ricky Fajrin scored the third goal in the 75th minute in the match led by Zaid Thames of Iraq.

Below is the temporary standing of Group A of the Asian Games 2018 following the completion of Friday`s (August 17) matches.
