Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Iranian and Chinese wushu athletes will vie for gold medals in the women`s 52-kg and 60-kg sanda events in the Asian Games 2018 on Thursday.

In the women`s 52-kg sanda finals, Samirou Mansoryan of Iran will confront Yueyao Li of China.

Samirou Mansoryan bested Divine Wally of the Philippines in three rounds in the semifinals, while Yueyao Li outclassed Weiting Chen of Chinese Taipei in the two straight rounds.

Semir Mansouriyan of Iran will play against Yingying Cai of China in the women`s 60 kg sanda finals.

The Iranian wushu athlete beat Suchaya Bualuang of Thailand in the women`s 60 kg sanda semifinals on Wednesday night, while Yingying Cai crushed Roshibina Devi Naorem of India.
