Jakarta, (ANTARA News) - South Korea and India archery teams will meet each other in the quarter finals of the 2018 Asian Games men`s recurve number, after conquering Malaysia at Panahan Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Field in Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday.

Both teams won over each of their opponents in the final round, namely South Korea, which successfully overcame Saudi Arabia, with a score of 6-0, and India, which won over Vietnam 5-3.

The other teams that will compete against each other in the quarter-finals are Iran against China, Chinese Taipei against Japan, and Mongolia meeting Kazakhstan.

Iran defeated Malaysia, with a score of 6-0; China won over Thailand 5-1; Chinese Taipei overcame Nepal 6-0; and Japan buried the ambitions of the Indonesian host, with a score of 6-2.

Next, the Bangladesh team was defeated by Mongolia, with a score of 2-6; and lastly, Kazakhstan beat North Korea 5-3. Meanwhile, in this race, the team qualifying for the quarter-finals is the team that gets a score of five sets of points first. *** 4 ***
