Jakarta (ANTARA News) - North Korean weightlifter Rim Jong Sim has a chance to add a gold medal for her country when she competes in the women`s 75 kg category at the Asian Games 2018 here on Sunday.

Among the nine weightlifters who will compete in the women`s 75 kg category, Kim Jong Sim has the highest entry total of 265 kg.

Her closest rivals will be Mun Minhee of South Korea with an entry total of 242 kg, Omadoy Otakuziyeva of Uzbekistan with an entry total of 235 kg and Yao Chiling of Chinese Taipei with an entry total of 230 kg.

Three weightlifters have the same entry total of 220 kg. They are Guinabat Kadyrova and Aysoltan Toychyyeva of Turkmenistan and Ayumi Kamiya of Japan.

Meanwhile, Huda Salim Neamah Al Saedi of Iraq has an entry total of 215 kg and Mai Al Madani of United Arab Emirates has the lowest entry total of 130 kg among the nine weightlifters.

No host weightlifter will compete in the event.

North Korea has garnered a pile of eight medals, with six gold, one silver and one bronze from weightlifting.
