Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Two Indonesian runners will strive for a gold medal in the men`s 10,000 meter race at Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Sunday night.

The Indonesian runners are Robi Syianturi and Welman David Pasaribu, who will compete with 11 other runners in the men`s 10,000 meter run.

Following is the list of 13 runners who will compete in the event:

1. Abdulazizhussein Saleh Alabdi (Yemen)

2. Hassan Chani (Bahrain)

3. Abraham Cheroben (Bahrain)

4. Munkhbayar Narandulam (Mongolia)

5. Robi Syianturi (Indonesia)

6. Changhong Zhao (China)

7. Welman David Pasaribu (Indonesia)

8. Lakshmanan Govindan (India)

9. Kieran Tuntivate (Thailand)

10. Ali Mohanad (Palestine)

11. Boonthung Srisung (Thailand)

12. Renxue Zhu (China)

13. Gantulga Dambadarjaa (Mongolia)



The Asian Games record for the men`s 10,000 meter race is currently held by Bilisuma Shugi of Bahrain with a time of 27.32 minutes. He set the record at the Asian Games 2010 held in Guangzhou, China.
