Yogyakarta (ANTARA News) - A digital application developed by Indonesia, namely PalapaONE, will facilitate the participants of the 35th General Assembly of the International Council of Women (ICW) by giving them detailed information on the event.

"The PalapaONE application will support, as the coordination media, in facilitating the four stakeholders of an event, such as the participants, event organizer, speakers, and the host," the Senior Vice President of Portfolio and Synergy of Telkom Indonesia, Pramasaleh Hario Utomo, said in Grand Inna Hotel, Malioboro, here on Wednesday.

According to Utomo, the app will give the stakeholders information related to the registration procedures, agenda of the event, information of speakers, map directions, photos and galleries, as well as press release for media journalists.

Telkom Indonesia supports the 35th General Assembly of ICW and Conference of Indonesian Women Organizations by operating the app.

The participants can get the soft file of speeches and presentations, and post questions to particular speakers.

The speakers can also follow up and answer all questions posted in PalapaONE after the event has finished.

After assisting the ICW`s General Assembly, Utomo stated that the app will be further utilized to support the Indonesian Pavilion during the 2018 Annual Meeting of IMF-World Bank in Bali in October.

Telkom Indonesia developed PalapaOne in 2013, and since then, the app has been used for many internal events.

Telkom introduced the app to public last year. The company renamed the app as PalapaOne for the ICW`s General Assembly this year.

"In accordance with the state-owned ministry`s request, we introduce the PalapaOne as an app that can be used for every event hosted by state-owned enterprises," Utomo explained.

He further called on all participants of ICW`s General Assembly and the National Gathering to download the PalapaOne from PlayStore for Android users.

Indonesia hosts the 35th ICW General Assembly and the National Gathering of One Thousand Indonesian Women`s Organizations in Yogyakarta.

Until Wednesday, a total of 158 delegations of various countries have been registered to attend the meeting.

The general assembly and the national gathering are organized jointly by the Indonesian Women Congress (KOWANI) and the State-Owned Enterprises Ministry.

The events are fully supported by 35 state-owned companies in Indonesia, including Antara News Agency.
