"On behalf of the Executive Board, our party gives the highest appreciation, because you are the only president of the Republic of Indonesia who has attended the official party forum at the national level six times in two years," Romahurmuziy told Jokowi, who attended PPP national level meeting (Mukernas) III in Jakarta, on Thursday.
Romahurmuziy stated earlier that the president was present at the VIII PPP Congress (April 2016), Mukernas I and the PPP Alim Committee (November 2016), Mukernas II and Workshop on PPP DPRD Members (July 2017), National Conference on Ulama Alms and 45th PPP Anniversary (April 2018), and Workshop on PPP regional legislative assembly (DPRD) members (May 2018).
"This has not included other activities visited by the president, especially in Islamic boarding schools and areas that are the basis of PPP in all corners of the country," Romahurmuziy remarked.
He stressed that the PPP wished that Jokowi could lead the Indonesian nation again after the upcoming 2019 election.
Jokowi also attended the PPP national leadership meeting III in Jakarta on Thursday.
