Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA News) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held talks with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund-World Bank Group annual meetings to discuss cooperation between the two countries.

Jokowi held the Annual Leaders meeting with Lee at the Laguna Hotel in Bali on Thursday.

The Indonesian leader greeted Lee upon arrival in the hotel`s lobby at around 9:45 a.m. local time.

The two leaders later held a discussion before an annual meeting between the delegations of the two neighboring countries.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno L. P. Marsudi noted that the annual meeting with Singapore was a routine meeting that the two countries held annually.

"This meeting tends to follow up on the various areas of cooperation we have discussed," she remarked prior to the meeting.

The number of delegates to the meeting was also quite large, she pointed out.

"We also have a full team mainly comprising economic ministers for the meeting," she revealed.

The areas of cooperation to be discussed at the meeting include the realization of investment, the development of special economic zone, and digital economy, she stated.

During the meeting, President Jokowi was accompanied by Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita, Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu, Minister/State Secretary Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Education and Culture Minister Muhadjir Effendy, Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo, National Development Planning Minister/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Bambang Brpdjonegoro, Head of the Creative Economy Board (Bekraf) Triawan Munaf, Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto, and Foreign Minister Marsudi.
