Nusa Dua, Bali, (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Printing Office (PNRI) exhibited a box set of CD Lokananta songs collection in Indonesia Pavilion held on the occasion of the IMF-World Bank Group annual meetings in Nusa Dua, Bali, from Oct 8 to 14.

"A box set of CD Lokananta songs collection is a collection of four albums specially presented by Lokananta Studio in Solo to the IMF-World Bank Group Annual meetings inj Nusa Dua, Bali," PNRI Finance and Production Director Satrijo Sigit Wirjawan said on Sunday.

The albums are "Gending Bali", "Karawitan Jawa", "Bingkisan Dari Tanah Air" and "Asian Games" albums.

"All the songs in the albums reflect the diversity of unique, classical and valuable national and traditional musics for collection," he said.

The "Gending Bali" album contains Balinese traditional songs usually played to greet distinguished guests, while the "Karawitan Jawa" album contains sound of Javanese gamelan, he said.

"Bingkisan dari Tanah Air" album is a collection of songs from various areas in Indonesia. The songs are often played during state events," he said.

"The Asian Game album is a collection of songs which was once distributed among athletes of the Asian Games 1962 held in Jakarta, Indonesia," he said.

The IMF-World Bank Group annual meetings which brought together 36 thousand participants from 189 countries were a valuable chance for Perum PNRI.

"This is a chance to introduce Indonesian classical songs to the rest of the world so other countries will appreciate the diversity of Indonesian cultural arts particularly musics," he said.

A box set of CD Lokananta songs is sold for Rp1,3 million.
