Gianyar, Bali, (ANTARA News) - Jakarta`s soccer team Persija defeated the Bali Provincial squad of Bali United, 2-1, in the 2018 Indonesian League 1 (One), or "Liga I," competition at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar District, Sunday night.

After the first whistle was blown by the referee, the Persija players launched an attack by pushing into the Bali United`s goal.

Persija`s player Sandi Sute scored a goal in the seventh minute as a result of a direct kick in front of the penalty area.

The host, Bali United, then attempted to build an attack by strengthening the forward to attack Persija.

Until the end of the first half, the score was 1-0 in favor of Jakarta.

However, in the second half, Persija increasingly concentrated its attacks in the defense area of Bali United.

Meanwhile, Persija`s player M. Simic scored the second goal in the 84th minute, so the temporary score was 2-0.

During extra time, footballer Stepano Lilipaly was able to tear the Persija goal.

Until the long whistle was blown by the referee, the Jakarta team led 2-1.
