Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian Port Corporation (IPC), or PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II, has set a target of receiving revenue amounting to Rp13.5 trillion and recording current year profit worth Rp2.61 trillion in 2019.

"We hope that our revenue in 2019 would reach Rp13.5 trillion, or an increase of 18 percent, from Rp11.44 trillion in the previous year," President Director of IPC Elvyn G. Masassya informed the press, here, Monday.

The profit is expected to reach Rp2.61 trillion, or up 7.41 percent, from Rp2.43 trillion in 2018.

The target for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) in 2019 is set at Rp5.18 trillion, up 24.2 percent, from Rp4.17 trillion in the previous year.

"Also (the target for) operational expenditure to operational revenues, or BOPO, is 68.08 percent," Masassaya remarked.

The BOPO target is down 2.6 percent, from 69.9 percent in 2018, and 70.15 percent in 2017.

"This shows that the company is being managed efficiently," he pointed out.

The IPC II has prepared an organic and inorganic growth strategy to achieve the targets.
