Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice-presidential candidate Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno opined that with the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin pair responding to the main issue of the economy, it was time to evaluate the economic issues confounding 2019 to formulate an economic referendum.

"The community has responded quite favorably to this, and the dissemination of information to this end continues," Uno remarked at the Prabowo-Sandi Media Center on Jalan Sriwijaya, South Jakarta, Monday.

This statement was made in connection with the outcomes of a survey from several institutions hinting at the Prabowo Subianto-Uno pair's electability reaching 30 percent.

A survey, conducted by the Median institution, showed that the Jokowi-Amin pair's electability continued to surpass that of the Subianto-Uno pair.

On the basis of a survey conducted on November 4-16, 2018, covering 1,200 respondents, Jokowi-Amin's electability had touched 47.7 percent while that of the Subianto-Uno pair reached 35.5 percent, with nearly 16.8 percent undecided respondents.

"Work sincerely, smartly, hard, and smart and do complete work. We are inching closer to the survey, with our internal differences being 11 percent. If the outside publication points to some 12 percent, it is a validation of our findings," Uno pointed out.

Candidate pairs -- number 01 Jokowi-Amin and serial number 02 Subianto-Uno -- will go head-to-head in the 2019 presidential election.
