Jakarta (ANTARA) - Kulawi in Central Sulawesi Province was rattled by an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale on Tuesday, at 11:31 p.m. Western Indonesian Standard Time (WIB).

The epicenter of the quake was located at 1.47 degrees southern latitude and 120.08 degrees eastern longitude, or 11 kilometers (km) east of Kulawi, and at a depth of 10 km.

The quake's intensity was felt by those residing in Kuwali at II on the Modified Mercalli Intensity (MMI) scale and did not have the potential to trigger a tsunami.
