Sukabumi, Jabar (ANTARA) - A flood triggered by heavy rain that led to the CIranca River spilling over its banks, and submerging the Pelabuhanratu village administration office that housed the logistics of the presidential and elections, in Sukabumi District, West Java.

The flood waters reached a height of up to 30 centimeters, Kuswan Hermawan of the Sukabumi disaster mitigation office, said here on Friday.

Personnel of the local disaster mitigation office with the help of the Pelabuhanratu administration officers managed to secure the logistics and move them to higher ground.

Indonesia organized simultaneous legislative and presidential elections across the country on April 17, 2019. The official results of the elections will be announced on May 22, 2019.
