Jakarta (ANTARA) - The vote-counting information system of the General Election Commission (KPU) has recorded 8.26 percent of the scanned vote recapitulation (C1) forms from polling stations as of 10.06 a.m. on Sunday with presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 01, Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin, still excelling pair number 02, Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno.

Based on data from the official website of the KPU's vote counting information system Situng KPU https://pemilu2019.kpu.go.id, only 67,214 out of 813,350 polling stations across Indonesia and abroad sent ballots to the system.

According to the preliminary result of real count Jokowi-Ma'ruf pair was in the lead with 54.29 percent (6,976,119 votes), while Prabowo-Sandi pair was at 45.71 percent (5,874,294 votes)

The vote count is still subject to change as many polling stations in regions and abroad have not reported their ballots.

The KPU confirmed that the vote-counting information system would not affect the determination of vote results because the official recapitulation was still being done manually.

The vote recapitulation took place from April 18 to May 22, 2019 and was carried out manually and in stages, starting from the sub-district, district/city, provincial level to national levels,
