Ganjar offers Fujian entrepreneurs ample room for investment

Besides infrastructure, the tourism sector in Central Java also holds potential to forge cooperation,
Semarang (ANTARA) - The administration of Central Java province has presented various avenues for investment and cooperation to several entrepreneurs from Fujian Province, China.

"Besides infrastructure, the tourism sector in Central Java also holds potential to forge cooperation," Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo remarked in Semarang, Central Java, on Friday.

At a meeting with several businesspersons from China, Ganjar offered insights into several potential projects prioritizing the sectors of infrastructure and tourism.

The governor remarked that Central Java had become a magnet for investors owing to its conducive investment climate.

He noted that the local government offers numerous facilities for supporting investments.

The cooperation between the Fujian provincial government and the Central Java government had gone smoothly, with investment being realized for textiles and processed foods.

Various potential projects comprising waste processing technology in Semarang and street lighting in Surakarta City are in the offing for investors.

In terms of the tourism sector, there are various leading tourist destinations, including the Borobudur Temple, Telogo Wening, and Panjang Island. Rembang, Karanganyar, Cilacap, Batang, Jepara, Purbalingga, Sukoharjo, Semarang, and Pekalongan, among others, are other interesting locations that can attract investment.

"We will be glad to see Fujian businesspersons come ahead to make investments in several sectors, particularly tourism," he remarked.
