Batam (ANTARA) - Former first lady Ani Yudhoyono's children are still giving her company during her stay in the intensive care unit (ICU) at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, on Thursday.

"(Mas (brother) Ibas and Mas (brother) Agus) are still above," the security officer at NUH remarked.

Former president Susilo Yudhoyono is taking rest at the apartment.

In the meantime, the Kent Ridge Wing lobby, the place where the former first lady is admitted for treatment, wore a deserted look.

Earlier at a press conference on Thursday (May 30) night, the eldest son, Agus Harimurti Yudhonyono stated that his mother's health had deteriorated.

"A team of doctors at the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore are currently giving several medical treatments to her," he revealed.

Ani was admitted to the ICU as a prompt measure in the face of her deteriorating health condition.

Agus sought the prayers and best wishes of all Indonesians for Ms. Ani's health to improve and be able to undergo the next healing process.

"To this end, in the last third of the glorious and blessed month of the holy month of Ramadhan, we the Yudhoyonos extended family requests the Indonesian people to pray for Ms. Ani's health condition to stabilize and continue to improve, so that she is able to heal further," he added.
