Cikeas, Bogor (ANTARA) - A number of mourners continued to come to Puri Cikeas in Bogor district, West Java, to convey final respects for the late First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, the wife of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (2004-2014) on Sunday morning.

Since 6:00 a.m. local time, family members, colleagues and local people began to come and gather at the Cikeas Hall.

The body of Indonesia's First Lady Kristiani Herrawati or Ani Yudhoyono is to be laid to rest in the Cikeas Hall for a while at 08:00 a.m. in order to provide an opportunity for the people who would pay their final respects to the first lady.

It was planned that at 12:00 a.m., the funeral procession will be continued with Dzuhur prayer and the congregation prayer for the late first lady at Cikeas Hall.

Then at 1:30 a.m., a ceremony for former First Lady Ani Yudhoyono will be held at the Cikeas Hall and led by
Indonesian House speaker Bambang Soesatyo.


After the funeral ceremony, the body of late first lady Ani Yudhoyono will be departed to the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery.

At 3:00 p.m., Ani Yudhoyono's funeral at the Kalibata cemetery will be led by Indonesian President Joko Widodo as the funeral ceremonial inspector.


Kristiani Herawati, a daughter of Sarwo Edhie Wibowo (an Indonesian military leader) died at 11.50 local time on Saturday.

Ani Yudhoyono suffered from blood cancer and was being treated at the National University Hospital in Singapore.
