Jakarta (ANTARA) - Empty roads in the quiet capital city of Jakarta during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr presented a unique photo opportunity for some people, with a creative inclination.

Most roads in Jakarta currently wear a quiet, deserted look since over half the population has left the city to return to their hometowns during the Eid holidays.

This situation piqued the creative quotient of several people, who are still in the city, to click pictures in the middle of empty roads.

Some people posed for pictures in the middle of the deserted street on the first day of Eid and uploaded them on their Instagram account bearing the tagline #JakartaSepi that means #QuietJakarta.

Several of them also posted photographs in sleeping, working, and camping poses in the middle of the empty road. These photographs give a glimpse of a plethora of activities that are definitely not possible on Jakarta's roads during regular weekdays.
