Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has yet again reminded civil servants and state administrators to promptly notify the anti-graft body on gratuities received during the leave of Lebaran (post-fasting festivities.

KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah noted here on Monday that the the commission had again appealed to civil servants and state administrators to desist from committing corrupt acts.

"If anyone accepts gratuities during this Lebaran leave, we remind you to immediately report it to the KPK no later than 30 working days after having received it," KPK spokesman Diansyah remarked here on Monday.

Moreover, the spokesman explained that the process of reporting any receipt of gratification had currently been simplified through the "Online Gratification" (GOL) application.

"Reporting gratuities has become easier, either through cell phones or computer, each by using the Online Gratuity application," he explained.

Those reporting gratuities can visit https://gol.kpk.go.id link or download the "GOL" application on an Android-based mobile device through the Google Play store or through the App store for mobile phones, with the iOS operating system.

Since its launch in December 2017, the KPK statistics indicated a spike in the use of these applications annually than other reporting media.

"In 2017, fewer than 50 reports were received through GOL. In 2018, some 21 percent, or 508, of the total 2,353 reports received were from the GOL reporting medium. However, until May 29, 2019, some 710 reports, or some 72 percent, of the total 975 reports of gratuities received had originated from GOL applications," Diansyah noted.
