Osaka (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received a warm welcome from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe while welcoming guests at the Intex Osaka Building during the 2019 G20 Osaka Summit on Friday.

Abe shook hands with President Jokowi that was captured by several cameramen.

President Jokowi arrived at the Intex Osaka Japan Building at around 11:18 am local time or 09:18 am Western Indonesian Standard Time (WIB).

At around 11:30 local time, President Jokowi was greeted by Abe to head to the plenary meeting room.

Before being welcomed by PM Abe, President Jokowi conversed with other G20 leaders.

President Jokowi was seen wearing a dark blue suit and red tie.

After the welcome ceremony, the event would feature a luncheon meeting, digital economy discussion meeting, group photo, and meeting to discuss women's empowerment.

On the sidelines of the G20 meeting, President Jokowi was scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several G20 leaders.
