Indonesia and India have held the elections, then let us boost our good relations on cooperation.
Osaka (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intensify relations on cooperation after the two countries held the general elections.

"Indonesia and India have organized elections. Let us boost our good relations on cooperation," President Jokowi stated during the Indonesia-India bilateral talks during the G20 Summit at the Intex Building in Osaka, Japan, on Saturday.

President Jokowi was content on having met with PM Modi.

"I am very pleased to have a meeting with Your Majesty Prime Minister Modi, and that for one more time, I would like to express my congratulations on your election as India's prime minister," he stated.

PM Modi, in his remarks, spoke of Indonesia's general election that had been held successfully. Moreover, he congratulated President Jokowi on being re-elected as president.
