Jakarta (ANTARA) - A total of 16 PUBG Mobile digital game teams are set to compete in the final round of the 2019 Mobile Indonesia National Championship (PINC) at the Indoor Tennis Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, on July 13-14.

According to a written statement by Tencent Games and RevivalTV, Saturday, teams from various regions qualifying for the final round were those that had emerged winners of the PINC regional qualifying match held since mid-April 2019 and will compete for prizes totaling Rp1 billion.

The 16 teams comprised Familia Esport Loenpia City (Semarang), AEROWOLF Limax (Surabaya), Bigetron Esports (Jakarta), SFI 4S (Jakarta), RRQ Capcorn (Bali), CMPB Fams (Makassar), PROFESSIONAL BAD (Medan), and DRANIX MTRJEA AVENGERS (Manado). The other teams are GHOST ALLIANCE GRILLPAN team (Yogyakarta), BOOM ACE (Pontianak), ONIC LULCLAZ PYB (Padang), FRONTIER ESPORT TEAM (Bandung), RRQ RYU (Bandung), NFTZero90 (Balikpapan), EVOS ESPORTS (Palembang), and one winning team open qualifier.

This event also featured a special Ladies Tournament event involving a battle between PUBG Mobile teams, and all members are female players.

PUBG Mobile is a digital game based on the battle royale genre in which 100 people can simultaneously play online.

Players can play solo, in teams of two, and teams of four. They can also invite friends to join the game as team members.

In the Playstore application market, the game has been played by more than 50 million Android users worldwide.
