London (ANTARA) - A coordinator of volunteers for former presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto and former vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno in London, Britain, Rasyid F. Hanafiah has called on supporters for Prabowo and Sandi not to slander, and hate the two figures without concrete facts, and instead they have to be careful and polite in showing their stance as well as remain to stay in the opposition line with the people.

Rasyid F. Hanafiah made the remark to Antara London on Monday, responding to a meeting between President-elect Jokowi and General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto which took place the Lebak Bulus Jakarta MRT station on Saturday (July 13).

Rasyid F. Hanafiah said this statement was not an official statement but personal opinion responding to the meeting between Prabowo Subianto and President-elect Joko Widodo.

"I can understand the disappointment of the 02 (Prabowo) volunteers. I believe that Prabowo will not meet Jokowi without a plan that has been carefully thought out," he said.

According to Rasyid F. Hanafiah, he and most friends in Britain can only see this event through online media, so his opinions and views on this event are limited. He added that he had taken a stand waiting for Prabowo's next move, and hoped Prabowo would remain in the opposition line.

For this reason, Rasyid, who has been living in England for 19 years, invited friends not to slander and to hate without concrete facts, to be careful and polite, but not to leave the ranks of the opposition and the people.

He pointed out that Prabowo and Sandi have a dream to make Indonesia a more sovereign, just and prosperous country. " However, I cannot make any opinion about supporters 01 (of Joko Widodo) because there is no direct interaction with them," said Rasyid F. Hanafiah.
