The cause of the fire is yet being investigated
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Four people lost their lives in a fire that engulfed two houses in North Jakarta on Sunday night.

"The cause of the fire is yet being investigated," Chief of the Criminal Detective Unit of the Penjaringan Police Precinct Commissioner Mustakim remarked on Monday.

The four people killed in the fire were identified as Tonny (45), Jenny (44), Erika (17), and Kenken (8).

The fire, which broke out at 11:30 p.m. local time on Sunday, burned the houses of Tonny and Aguan located at Pasar Teluk Gong Street in Pejagalan, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta.

Firefighters of the North Jakarta and West Jakarta fire departments managed to put out the blaze at 2:15 a.m. local time on Sunday.
