Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana arrived in Jakarta, Friday, 10:24 p.m. local time after paying brief visits to neighboring Malaysia and Singapore, Presidential Secretariat's Press Bureau noted in a statement here, Saturday.

The President and First Lady were greeted by Minister/State Secretary Pratikno upon arrival at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, after which they left for the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java Province.

Jokowi departed for Malaysia on Thursday evening, met Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Muhammad on Friday morning, and then headed to Singapore on Friday afternoon.

Members of the presidential entourage comprised Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto, Education and Culture Minister Muhadjir Effendy, and Chief of the Presidential Staff Moeldoko. In Malaysia, Jokowi and Mahathir discussed issues concerning their respective borders and the Indonesian migrant workers.

Another crucial issue discussed at the meeting was the discriminative European Union (EU) directive on Indonesian and Malaysian palm oil.

The president had earlier visited Bali Province on a working visit before leaving for Malaysia on Thursday afternoon.

The president was in Singapore to attend the celebrations of Singapore's National Day at the invitation of Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong,
