Our obstacle in the development of aviation and space technology is the limited budget and human resources. The interest of the younger generation in aviation and space technology is quite large
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (Lapan) needs more human resources to develop science and technology in the field of aviation and space, Lapan chief Thomas Djamaluddin said in Jakarta on Monday. "Our obstacle in the development of aviation and space technology is the limited budget and human resources. The interest of the younger generation in aviation and space technology is quite large," Djamaluddin said.

However, the hunt for prospective civil servants (CPNS) for researchers and engineers in the field of aviation and space has limitations, according to Thomas.

"At present, we still lack human resources to work development programs on aviation and space technology," he said.

Lapan hoped the government would increase and improve the quality of human resources in the field of science and technology in line with its programs to develop human resources.

Lapan is trying to become a center of excellence in aviation and space technology to usher in an advanced and independent Indonesia, Thomas also stated.

"With superior human resources, we spur a progressive and independent Indonesia. The same rule applies in the field of aviation and space technology," he remarked. (INE)
