Makassar (ANTARA) - The Provincial Anti-Narcotics Agency (BNNP) of South Sulawesi arrested three women as housewives along with one man who carried crystal methamphetamine weighted 3.7 kilograms from Tawau, Malaysia.

Four suspects were identified as Parepare-South Sulawesi citizens who have each initial name 26 years-old AR, 29 years-old AF, 53 years-old FT and 33 years-old AL, Head of BNNP South Sulawesi Brigadier General Police Idris Kadir confirmed in Makassar on Tuesday.

The meth were packed into four packs that hidden under the corsets worn by three women couriers that later traveled crossing the waters of Kalimantan to deliver the packages to Sidenreng Rappang District.

“These three women were in Kalimantan to attend a wedding when a man called Pak Ci offered Rp20 million fee to them for safely deliver meth to the destination,” Kadir said.

Pak Ci is considered as the drug dealer whose identity has been revealed and is now being chased by BNNP and police.

“According to the suspects’ confession, they had no idea about being drug couriers. However the large number fee made them take the job anyway,” he added.
