Jakarta (ANTARA) - State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I confirmed that the 35 flight routes cancelled from China to Indonesia's island of Bali over the coronavirus scare is estimated to cause Rp48 billion loss to the company.

"Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is AP I's largest airport. On the first days of the corona outbreak, there was a policy to halt flights from China, and the impact on our airport in Bali was the cancellation of at least 35 flights per day, originating from 22 cities in China, including Wuhan," CEO of PT AP I, Faik Fahmi, stated in Jakarta, Friday.

Out of the 35 daily flights, some 6,800 passengers come in Bali from various cities in China.
