Jambi (ANTARA) - The Jambi Narcotics Agency (BNN) took four suspected drug traffickers into arrest and seized 4.9 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 1,400 ecstasy pills in West Tanjungjabung District, Jambi Province.

The drug dealers were members of an inter-provincial network and also an international syndicate, as the illicit drugs had entered the waters in Tembilahan, Riau Province, Dwi Irianto, head of Jambi BNN, stated here on Tuesday

The Jambi BNN had conducted the raid after receiving tip-offs from the public of a large number of narcotics package shipments from Tembilahan, Riau Province, to the Kuala Tungkal area, West Tanjung Peninsula District, Jambi Province.

The four drug traffickers were identified by their initials as SU (57), HM (38), HE (38), and ER (39).
