Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Sulianti Saroso Hospital for Infectious Diseases (RSPI) discharged four patients that had fully recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to data received in Jakarta on Tuesday.

A total of 26 COVID-19 patients were undergoing treatment at the hospital, of which 10 are patients under observation (PDP), while 16 others were found positive with COVID-19 infection.

During the same period, four new patients were hospitalized there to immediately receive medical treatment.

All COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at the Sulianti Saroso Hospital for Infectious Diseases are being clustered into three isolation rooms, comprising Mawar 1 and Mawar 2 rooms, with 11 patients in each, as well as the Dahlia Room where one patient is receiving treatment. Furthermore, three other patients are being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU).

The hospital has, until now, treated 128 COVID-19 patients since taking on the first and second cases in the country at the start of March. Of the total figure, 69 were confirmed positive with COVID-19, whilst the 59 others were patients under surveillance.

In the meantime, the hospital recorded 2,873 people under surveillance (ODP).

Based on the official data released by the government on Tuesday, Indonesia had recorded a total of 4,557 COVID-19 positive cases, indicative of an increase of 316 from that on Monday.
