The tourists visited tourist attractions such as Tidung Island, Untung Jawa Island, Pari Island, Harapan Island, Pramuka Island, and Payung Island.
“Today, the tourist visits reached two thousand people; both departed from the Kaliadem Port and Marina Ancol North Jakarta,” district head of Seribu Islands, Junaedi, said during a visit to Tidung Island, South Seribu Islands, on Tuesday.
He appealed to public facilities and infrastructure officers (PPSUs) and officers on the beach to keep the tourist area clean.
The district head also appealed to tourists to keep complying with the COVID-19 health protocols during their vacation in the district in order to prevent virus transmission.
At a separate location, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi distributed masks to ship passengers at Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, before leaving for Seribu Islands on Tuesday.

Sumadi reminded that ships operating at the port must pass a test before starting operations.
In addition, every ship that goes to islands in the Seribu Islands district with tourists must have a Sailing Order (SPB).
"Of the 31 ships here, only 23 are eligible," the minister said.
He lauded the services at Muara Angke Port in terms of health protocol implementation, the utilization of the PeduliLindungi application, and the provision of vaccination booths for unvaccinated passengers.
For the 2022 Eid al-Fitr, the Indonesian government has decided that the collective leave days will be on April 29 and from May 4–6.
