"It is part of President Prabowo Subianto's priority program under the fourth Asta Cita mission, which focuses on developing excellent, healthy, and globally competitive human resources," Mu'ti said during the inauguration of an education revitalization program in East Lombok on Sunday.
He said his ministry allocated Rp527.6 billion in revitalization assistance for 531 schools in West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara in 2025.
Specifically in East Lombok, the program covers 87 schools with a total budget of Rp105 billion, including elementary, junior high, senior high, vocational, and special schools.
For the digitalization program, the ministry has distributed 7,080 interactive flat panel (IFP) devices valued at Rp236.2 billion to schools across NTB.
"In East Lombok alone, 1,739 IFPs valued at Rp47.2 billion have been distributed. The entire revitalization and digitalization process for 2025 has been completed," he said.
Mu'ti emphasized that improving education quality also requires qualified teachers and strong student motivation.
"Teachers are key. Technology and infrastructure are important, but teachers are irreplaceable. Therefore, we are focusing on teachers' qualifications, competencies, and welfare," he said.
