..the event would strengthen the commitment to protecting children and fulfilling their rights would be strengthened to help realize the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.Jakarta (ANTARA) - Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Minister Arifah Fauzi greeted children at Dinamika Indonesia Elementary School in Bantar Gebang Sub-district, Bekasi City, West Java, ahead of the 42nd National Children's Day (HAN) celebration.
"Through today's Jelajah SAPA activity, which carries the theme 'Love Children, Protect and Build the Future'. I want to get to know you better and hear your stories, hopes and aspirations." Fauzi said here on Sunday.
During the visit, the minister engaged in an interactive dialogue with the children and encouraged them to stay motivated in their studies as they pursue their valuable dreams.
The minister said that children are the foundation of the nation's future and will become the country's future leaders.
"President Prabowo Subianto cares deeply about Indonesian children. Accordingly, he is committed to ensuring that no child suffers from malnutrition, illness, or drops out of school. These basic rights are the primary foundation for children to grow into a high-quality generation of future leaders," Fauzi remarked.
Meanwhile, chairperson of the Indonesian Chinese Woman Association (PINTI), Metta Agustina, emphasized that children are a blessing as well as the nation's hope for the future.
"We are grateful to see remarkable changes and progress from year to year. The children's health here have continued to improve, and the number of children experiencing malnutrition has declined significantly over the past few years," Agustina said.
During the Jelajah SAPA activity, the ministry and its partner organizations distributed 604 kilograms of fresh mackerel as part of a 6.6-ton aid package delivered to seven locations, 347 snack packages provided by the Social Affairs Ministry, and 400 aid packages donated by the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Suppliers Association (GPHRI).
The ministry said the event would strengthen the commitment to protecting children and fulfilling their rights would be strengthened to help realize the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
