Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Sumedang District, West Java, on Wednesday, Prabowo emphasized that cross-sector collaboration is essential to carrying out public service effectively.
“Once you have been assigned to your respective posts, you will not work alone. You will be part of a grand team serving the nation,” he told the graduates.
The President said civil servants are expected to work in close coordination with all state institutions, including the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the National Police (Polri), the Attorney General’s Office, and regional governments.
He also encouraged the young officials to cultivate productive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, including religious leaders, business representatives, public figures, and traditional community leaders.
Prabowo cautioned the graduates against displaying arrogance while serving the public.
“I want you to build cooperation. Cooperation is the key to success. You must respect, support, and strengthen one another,” he said.
The President reminded the newly inaugurated civil servants that they would play an important role in ensuring effective governance and safeguarding the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
He expressed hope that they would grow into leaders capable of managing efficient bureaucracies and accelerating national development.
Prabowo further stressed that the success of government policies and programs depends not only on strong political commitment but also on effective implementation.
“Great ideas, well-designed plans, and sound policies will ultimately be meaningless if they are not implemented on the ground. Even the best plans will fail without proper execution,” he said.
